Expert Logistics is part of the Appliances Online group, the UK’s largest online domestic appliance retailer, and specialises in the delivery of white and brown goods, such as cookers, fridges and washing machines. With clients including Sainsbury’s Marks & Spencer, Argos and B&Q they deliver over 20,000 appliances per week from their base in Crewe.

Our relationship with the businesses began in 2011 as Expert Logistics were looking to relocate their operation from North Manchester. A package of support was put together to secure a move to Crewe, in preference to other locations, and the recruitment of over 400 new employees.

Since then the business has grown and taken on additional space and most recently opened a second logistics centre across the road creating an additional 80 jobs.

By utilising our network of specialists and relationships with the Council, local colleges and Jobcentre Plus we were able to provide a bespoke package of support to assist AO fulfil their growth objectives in becoming Europe’s best electrical retailer. Our ability to broker support across recruitment and training of drivers, warehouse and office staff and provide the opportunity for the business to help shape strategic transport policy has been warmly appreciated by the business.
