In 2014 Right Management published the The Flux Report’. This report looked at the how the economic and global recession impacted on the changing ways of working and what skills were needed by the workforce in order to respond to these changes.

It identified the following ‘most important skills to develop in employees to drive company growth over the next five years’ in order of priority: management skills; interpersonal skills; innovation and creativity; resilience; technical/specialist skills; IT skills; sales/marketing skills; and client management skills.
