Did you know there are more than 18,300 Apprentices working across Cheshire and Warrington which is 25% higher than the England average?
We want it to become the norm for young people to consider an Apprenticeship as a valid and respected route to a rewarding, well paid career.
University isn’t the right choice for everyone, even students with A or B grades. Did you know Apprenticeships are now available in more than 1,500 job roles from nuclear to fashion, and from banking to defence?
An Apprenticeship is a real job with training, providing the opportunity to earn whilst learning and getting recognised qualifications.
Higher and degree apprenticeships are widening access to all sorts of professions and providing the higher level technical skills employers need to improve productivity and give young people an equally valid career route as going to university full-time.
A new campaign – Get In Go Far – has been designed to encourage more employers, young people and their parents to recognise Apprenticeships as a valid and credible route to a rewarding career. Visit www.getingofar.gov.uk to find out more.
We were recently commissioned by the Cheshire & Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership to produce some videos of Apprentices and their employers to understand more about their respective views on the benefits and opportunities of the programme. You can watch a summary below and the full interviews here.
